Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Option 1: Matric

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), Physical Science, and English
  • Minimum 40% pass in all subjects

Option 2: N3 or Higher (Trade-Specific)

Applicants must have relevant N3 subjects aligned to the chosen trade:

  • Boilermaker: Plating/Welders Theory; Structural & Steelwork Drawings
  • Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory; Industrial Electronics or Engineering Drawings
  • Diesel Mechanic: Diesel/Motor Trade Theory; Engineering Drawings
  • Mechanical Fitter: Fitting Trade Theory; Engineering Drawings
  • Instrument Mechanician: Instrument Trade Theory; Industrial Electronics
  • Auto Electrician: Motor Electrical Trade Theory; Industrial Electronics
  • Millwright: Electrical & Fitting Trade Theories; Engineering Drawings or Industrial Electronics

Option 3: NCV

  • NCV Level 4 in a relevant trade
  • Minimum 40% pass in all subjects
