About the IT Internship Programme

The Hessequa Municipality IT Internship is designed for graduates who have completed a Degree in Information Technology (NQF Level 7) and are seeking real-world experience in a municipal environment.

Interns will gain exposure to practical IT operations, systems support, and professional workplace conduct within local government.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Degree in Information Technology (NQF Level 7)
  • Must reside within the Hessequa Municipal Area
  • Proof of residence is required
  • Recently qualified graduates are encouraged to apply
