What This Role Is About

The Learning Practitioner identifies skills gaps, develops training materials, facilitates learning interventions, and conducts assessments aligned with legal and corporate standards.

You will ensure:

  • Compliance with learning legislation

  • Structured learning plans based on 70:20:10 principles

Minimum Qualifications Required

To qualify, you must have:

Formal Education

  • Grade 12
  • NQF Level 4 (Chemical)
  • Occupational Trade Certificate (Assessor Qualification) – Mandatory
  • National Certificate in ODETDP (Advantageous)

Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years relevant experience in L&D or technical training

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Identify learning gaps through skills assessments
  • Develop structured learning interventions
  • Facilitate classroom and on-the-job training
  • Conduct workplace assessments and moderation
  • Design evaluation tools and dashboards
  • Monitor learning plans and corrective actions
  • Adapt programmes for learners with special needs
  • Support line managers in evaluating competence
  • Ensure compliance with Sasol learning frameworks

You may also act as an Assessor/Moderator where required.
