What This Role Is About
The Learning Practitioner identifies skills gaps, develops training materials, facilitates learning interventions, and conducts assessments aligned with legal and corporate standards.
You will ensure:
- Compliance with learning legislation
- Competency development aligned to business strategy
- Effective evaluation of learning impact
- Structured learning plans based on 70:20:10 principles
This is not an entry-level role. It requires experience and assessor capability.
Minimum Qualifications Required
To qualify, you must have:
Formal Education
- Grade 12
- NQF Level 4 (Chemical)
- Occupational Trade Certificate (Assessor Qualification) – Mandatory
- National Certificate in ODETDP (Advantageous)
Experience
- Minimum 4+ years relevant experience in L&D or technical training
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Identify learning gaps through skills assessments
- Develop structured learning interventions
- Facilitate classroom and on-the-job training
- Conduct workplace assessments and moderation
- Design evaluation tools and dashboards
- Monitor learning plans and corrective actions
- Adapt programmes for learners with special needs
- Support line managers in evaluating competence
- Ensure compliance with Sasol learning frameworks
You may also act as an Assessor/Moderator where required.
