Who Can Apply
Applications are open to:
- Trade-test-ready learners
- Learners who have completed all required modules (with proof)
- Experienced workers with at least three years of relevant experience

- A signed confirmation from the employer
Minimum Documents Required

- South African ID
- Statement of results for your highest qualification or Standard Diploma Programme

What Is ARPL (Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning)?
ARPL is designed for workers who gained skills on the job rather than through a formal apprenticeship. It allows experienced individuals to obtain a national trade certificate based on proven workplace experience.

- Individuals trained informally or through workplace exposure
- Artisans who never completed a formal apprenticeship
