About the Contact Centre Learnership
This programme combines formal classroom training with on-the-job learning at Momentum Health. You’ll be trained to work professionally in a medical scheme contact centre, using real systems and handling real customer queries.
By the end of the learnership, you’ll have:
- Practical work experience
- A recognised qualification
- A completed Portfolio of Evidence required by SETA

What You’ll Learn
During the 12 months, you’ll gain skills in:
- Contact centre operations and customer service
- Medical scheme products, policies, and processes
- Using workplace computer systems and software
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients

This training prepares you for entry-level roles in medical schemes, healthcare administration, and financial services.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a learner, you will:
- Attend all training sessions and workplace activities
- Complete practical tasks and job-based learning
- Build and maintain your Portfolio of Evidence
- Keep accurate logbooks of your work experience
- Participate in assessments and competency tests
- Follow Momentum Metropolitan policies and values
- Use company systems correctly and responsibly
- Act professionally as a Momentum Health employee
- Write and pass the final EISA examination
Who Can Apply?
You may apply if you meet all of the following requirements:
- South African citizen aged 18 to 30
- Unemployed at the time of application
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Mathematics 40% or higher, or Mathematical Literacy 60% or higher
- English 50% or higher, plus another South African language at 50% or higher
- Basic computer skills
- Available full time for 12 months
- Able to travel to the workplace independently
- Not studying part-time or full-time during the learnership
- Have not completed this learnership before
