About the Contact Centre Learnership

This programme combines formal classroom training with on-the-job learning at Momentum Health. You’ll be trained to work professionally in a medical scheme contact centre, using real systems and handling real customer queries.

By the end of the learnership, you’ll have:

  • Practical work experience
  • A recognised qualification
  • A completed Portfolio of Evidence required by SETA

What You’ll Learn

Your Key Responsibilities

As a learner, you will:

  • Attend all training sessions and workplace activities

  • Keep accurate logbooks of your work experience
  • Participate in assessments and competency tests
  • Follow Momentum Metropolitan policies and values
  • Use company systems correctly and responsibly
  • Act professionally as a Momentum Health employee
  • Write and pass the final EISA examination

Who Can Apply?

You may apply if you meet all of the following requirements:

  • South African citizen aged 18 to 30
  • Unemployed at the time of application
  • Completed Matric (Grade 12)
  • Mathematics 40% or higher, or Mathematical Literacy 60% or higher
  • English 50% or higher, plus another South African language at 50% or higher
  • Basic computer skills
  • Available full time for 12 months
  • Able to travel to the workplace independently
  • Not studying part-time or full-time during the learnership
  • Have not completed this learnership before
