What You Will Learn

This is hands-on technical training.

During the 12 months, you will gain skills in:

HVAC Fundamentals

Understanding heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Installation & Commissioning

Installing and testing unitary HVAC systems.

Electrical & Mechanical Basics

Tool handling, basic wiring principles, and mechanical components.

Fault Finding

Identifying and fixing system problems.

Safety Training

Working at heights and occupational health & safety compliance.

By completion, you’ll be equipped for entry-level technical roles in facilities management.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must meet all of the following:

  • Education:
    • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Compulsory)
      OR
    • NQF Level 4, 5, or 6 qualification
  • Age: 18 – 34 years
  • Medical Fitness:
    • Must be physically fit
    • Comfortable working at heights
  • Technical Mindset:
    • Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems
    • Willing to work with tools

This is not suitable for candidates who prefer office-based work.
