The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor), in partnership with the South African defence industry, is accepting applications for its 2026 Bursary Programme.
This bursary supports full-time studies in key science and engineering fields that align with the future skills needs of the defence sector. Students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
Applicants must meet all requirements below:
- South African citizen
- Currently in Matric (2025) or have completed Matric
- Minimum achievement levels 5, 6, and 7 in:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- English
- Studying or intending to study full-time in 2026
- Field of study must be on the approved list
- Accepted or planning to study at a public tertiary institution
- Strong academic performance
- Demonstrated financial need
- Combined household income must not exceed R1 million per year
- Interest in a career within the defence industry
- From a previously disadvantaged background
